I want to use test net

Hello infura team. I am a junior developer using infura services in Korea.
I am not familiar with blockchain technology yet.

I just want to test my apps etc transaction function or get balance data in wallet… etc
Then I need to test this function on Infura testnet, am I right?

When I read the official document, it says as follows.

Currently, our APIs support the Ethereum blockchain (including mainnet and Ropsten, Rinkeby, Kovan, and Görli test networks) and other Web3 platforms such as the Interplanetary File System (IPFS).

So, I then I just use one of Ropsten, Rinkeby, Kovan, Goril test networks?
If then, what are their differences?

Thanks!!

Hey @ben.choi, and welcome to the Infura community!

Yup! That’s exactly what you’d use so you don’t have to actually use ETh. You can see a nice breakdown of the different testnets and why use each one in the Ethereum docs here.
