IPFS Gateway Solution - Rate Limiting - Criteria for Queued Requests

In the rate limits section of the IPFS solution, it mentions that there can be 100 requests/sec.

Is this limit for initializing the request, or does a single request need to run start to finish before another can be queued up.

hi @bob, it is based on the time our gateway has received the request, it doesn’t need to be fully served.

And you all are still doing a case-by-case basis for upgrading plans to above the 100 requests/sec limit, correct?

No, at this moment these limits are global and not customisable per accounts. They might loosen up though as long as we’ll be able to maintain the stability.
