Project ID does not have access to IPFS network

Hi,
I’m trying to connect to IPFS network with my basic free API.
Does a free account has no access to IPFS network?
Response to my request says:
project ID does not have access to this network, see https://infura.io/dashboard

Docs seems to say that I should create a new API key and choose IPFS network,
but as a student it is a burden for me to upgrade my account just to get this done.

I’d be glad just to know if IPFS connecting feature is not for free accounts.

Hey, that’s because IPFS is only being offered to a limited number of customers at this point, see this announcement IPFS Limited Services
